Especialidad: Recursos Hídricos e Hidrología de Aguas Superficiales. 

Actualmente se desarrolla como profesor e investigador de la Escuela de Física y del Centro de Investigaciones Geofísicas de la Universidad de Costa Rica. 

Estudios Realizados

• En el año 1992 obtuvo la licenciatura en la Escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Además de obtener el título de Maestría y Doctorado en el Departamento de Ingeniería Civil y Ambiental, específicamente en el área de Recursos Hídricos de la Universidad de California, Los Angeles. 

Ha desarrollado labores como:
